I assume you are discussing the Senate. I agree with your opinion. The purpose of delay appears to be give time to invent new criticisms of John Roberts.

BTW - Do you think Hillary would dare vote against Roberts? IMHO she needs a lot better reason than any advanced yet to seem even close to mainstream.
