There's going to be a lot of pork in the NO rebuild. Don't count on it to just go to Lousiana, Mississippi, Alabama, and Texas.

This is the 3rd or 4th time N.O. has flooded in the last 60 years. 1948 Hurricane, 1965 Betsy, 1969 if it did during Camille, and Katrina 2005. The city is also sinking on silt.

When you get the bill for flood proofing N.O. you might think twice about rebuilding it.

The other thing a lot of people aren't grasping is that most of the stuff in the water is now tear down.
