But small changes as have been recorded can fall well within normal variations.

So I guess the USA Republican way of measuring sea level is wait until the tide is out.

Besides the satellite data there are numerous data sets from tidal recording stations.

Major conclusions from tide gauge data have been that global sea level has risen approximately 10-25 cm during the past century.

You seem to be disputing a whole load of scientific studies. Not that it is wrong to do so, science is a learning process, but what is the basis that you consider that sea levels are not rising?

"FEMA Director Relieved of Duties

FEMA Director Mike Brown "is being removed from his role managing Hurricane Katrina relief efforts," the AP reports.

"Brown is being sent back to Washington from Baton Rouge, where he was the primary official overseeing the federal government's response to the disaster, according to two federal officials who declined to be identified before the announcement."
