been retired for awhile but we never had a large demand for diesel and most terminals never stored the product.

did i mention my propane for coming season is up 10% distributor said not much of demand increase for propane. i expect it is also a by product of crude and somewhere falls out in the process of making gasoline/heating oil. Why wouldn't you have the same problem with diesel?

isn't there just a chance that it may cost more to transport it and that may be the reason for higher cost over premium gasoline.

FWIW Diesel still somewhat less that gasoline in Western Canada...leading me to believe it is a demand and refinery constraint issue and lending support to your last statement.

Around here diesel was a lot less than gasoline, $2.59 verses $3.19 for gasoline yesterday. Depends on where you are.
