Re: "The mayor did issue evacuations warnings."

I didn't say he didn't, of course.

RE: "He issued a mandatory evacuation with plenty of time for folks to respond"

He waited due to "legal" doubts as noted, until Sunday Morning to call for the first mandatory evacuation in N.O. history (all per him).

Re: "All though some have said that he didn't send busses...he did. He provided transportation for those that wished to take advantage of it...busses ran. I heard Nagin say it himself. Either you are a liar or Nagin is."

Neither of us is a liar on that. Some busses ran to bring people to the Superdome, not out of town. It remains true that busses were left to flood, when had they been protected (even if driven out of town stupidly empty), thousands could have been saved from the horrors that ensued.

Re: "where was the federal government? Where was Bush? Where was the National Guard?"

The National Guard is ordered around by State Governors, not U.S. Presidents. They were ordered in larger numbers a bit late, ya think? I'd be for the president over-ruling the State and Local in this situation, and it seems some experts agree he had sufficient cause to do so. He didn't do it.

Re: "There is only one man who bears the full responsibility for the outcome and the aftermath in NOLA and all along the Gulf...and that man is George W. Bush."

That's just silly, IMHO, and I might add it's silly in the eyes of most. From Joe Scarborough to Lou Dobbs, the fact that all involved share in the blame (and as I've said, mistakes are ongoing as I write) is well understood.
