Your talk about the Governor ordering the Louisiana National Guard. Bush packed them off to Iraq. There was no Louisiana National Guard of any significance. We have all our resources dedicated to Iraq. Even funds from our public schools are being indirectly funnelled into Iraq to educate their kids.

This mad enterprise known as Iraq has got to stop. We need to refocus our attention on the war against terrorism by working with the militaries of other nations like Pakistan, India, Uzbekistan etc. and flushing out the terrorists hiding in those mountainous regions not in the cities and streets killing innocent people. The cost to do so will be very minimal and it would produce high impact results. And then the funds from Iraqi nation building could be diverted to the building of our own cities and schools such as in New Orleans.

What is so difficult to understand in this? How many cuts does a patient have to take before the patient bleeds to death. America is on that path and will be put 100 years behind by the time Bush leaves office.

Re: "There is only one man who bears the full responsibility for the outcome and the aftermath in NOLA and all along the Gulf...and that man is George W. Bush."

That's just silly, IMHO, and I might add it's silly in the eyes of most. From Joe Scarborough to Lou Dobbs, the fact that all involved share in the blame (and as I've said, mistakes are ongoing as I write) is well understood.

There was only one guy who could have stepped in with the proper power and resources and he was picking his guitar. That's why Bush must take the full responsibility for the way the operation was handled.

He didn't need to trump the other state and local officials, simply work with them to make them understand it's my way or the highway. When you have a Cat 5 bearing down this is what a great president does. Bush is no great president. He's more "window dressing" for the neocons that run the show behind the curtain.

Your insistent deflection of the responsibility away from Bush shows that you are truly a Bush apologist.
