Is that all right by you?

Rampant individualism is just anarchy, and leads to dictatorship.

An economy and society does not have to be all anarchy or all socialism. The stable environment will be a mixture of both. Junior's team seems to be caught in a ratchet of expectations driven by abstract faiths instead of any sort of practical ideas. The ratchet is leading to anarchy as surely as the temperance movement got caught up in it's morality ratchet of the day. The country is rapidly moving from the constitutional goal to promote the common welfare into some sort of enforcement mechanism for oligarchy. It's not just that the country has moved too far to the right, but Junior and his team don't seem to have a clue how to now adapt a stable course instead of moving ever further out of the mainstream.

Harry, We are being looted by giant corporations big time. Is that all right by you?

No, but replacing them with a socialist state would be worse.

Are they making silicon where you work? If so, you need to stop breathing in the fumes. ;~)

You need to reflect on your knee-jerk thinking.
Not allowing large-scale looting will not lead to a socialist state.
