I'll just recall you being wrong about the role of FEMA, and the reality of what happened with state and local responders. As I said: "You've still been writing even falsehoods, in an attempt to get OTHER very responsible parties off the hook. I don't have to be a Bush defender to stand up against that."

What folks did, and what they didn't do, is nothing to be washed away because a guy exists at the top. There is a Mayor at the top of the town. There is a Governor at the top of the state. There is a President at the top of the country. Delegation is in the plan. State and local is the proper place to put responsibility to determine what's needed, by and large, as has been the case. They did wrong, very wrong, IMHO, too.
