I you define "redneck" (in my view, a racist term) as someone who is socially conservative and against government involvement in his/her life, then this is true. But it's inaccurate to say that such people did not benefit from the 2001-2003 tax cuts. This group has a higher proportion of rich people than any urban, "blue" population.
