Look at the data and draw your own conclusions.

My conculsion from the data (which I breezed, but didn't look at for too long) is that the vast majority of suicide bombings of the past ten years were in the Israeli occupied territories. Therefore, the vast number of suicide bombings occur in occupied territory. So? The vast majority of suicide bombings probably occur within 300 miles of Jerusalem. That doesn't mean Jerusalem causes suicide bombings. The vast majority of suicide bombings occur over 4,000 miles from Iceland. That doesn't mean that being far away from Iceland causes suicide bombings.

And regardless, the fact that there have been lots of Palestinian suicide bombers over the past decade doesn't explain to me why someone (an Iraqi, probably, but who knows?) in Iraq lures poor Iraqi laborers to a bus full of explosives, and then blows them and himself up.

I think it is a sign of a sickness of a society, religion or culture, and something that the members of that society, religion or culture should address and attempt to repair.
