So do you believe the coalition troop presence in Iraq caused this guy to lure a hundred Iraqi laborers to get close to a car full of explosives that he then detonated?

That's exactly right. Russian troops catalized muslims in afghanistan. Fighters came from every corner of the muslim world to fight there. They accepted American help while hating America at the same time, and when the russians left defeated, they turned on America and on each other. American troops in saudi arabia catalized OBL's base dramatically. The same thing is happening in Iraq.

Foreign troop presence in South Korea, Guam, Germany, pre-statehood Hawaii, the Philippines and numerous other countries for numerous decades has NOT caused suicide bombers to blow up innocent laborers of the bomber's own culture and background, but in this case, its the coalition's presence that caused it.

How can you even ask this question and live in the middle east?

Where does one's own responsibility for one's own direct actions ever enter in your world view?

Irrelevant to the situation.
