My position is not based on what the "terrorists" say, it's based on the data. You may or may not have read this guys work, but there is a clear correlation between suicide bombings (which I assume you translate as terrorist attacks) and the presence of foreign military forces, more so with the religious "kicker", so hugely important in the Middle East.

Try to step back and look at the situation without emotion... it's not easy but we need to get real and drop the platitudes.

For better, certainly in Iraq. I'm closer to Buchanan (traditional conservative) on foreign policy than you might think. I frankly don't know about South Korea, but so far we are not seeing a lot of terrorism there. You know far more about that than I do. What do they think of our presence?
