lol, that'd get me to thinking of devils in blue dresses and that... goes a whole other direction.

I wasn't there but I can see the image so clearly in my mind that she described. And her face glowed as she told of it. She hadn't been on an outing in years and was rather high from it, anyway. And I can see this delicate blue butterfly, the sunlight through its wings, happy on her shoulder. And when anyone would get too near, it would walk back and peek over her shoulder and she would tell them that it wasn't ready for them yet. And when they backed away, the butterfly would flutter its wings and come closer to her face again.

Now if I was actually any good, I could write that up into a poem for my friend, Madame of butterflies. :)

That poem was one of the best ever posted on this thread, and it's just fine as it is. Besides, I thought she was talking about ME, and it doesn't make any difference whether you get it or not.
