Perish the poor

If the author understands the plight of the poor as she tries to claim, why does it sound like she is blaming them for every condition they find themselves? For an example, where does it say that not having family scattered throughout the country is a fault. And why does she continue to absolve Mr. Bush of any responsibility. Just more horse puckey IMO. More let them eat cake crap.

You all don't want to face the truth.....that your wealth comes from the sweat of the poor. That your wealth is maintained comfortably by the economic system that is in place where the rich get tax cuts and the poor get MRE's.......if they are lucky. Your wealth grows because we refuse to provide a net under people so they don't sink further into debt and oblivion.

America's form of capitalism is failing but all the wonderful statistics that your supply side economists conjure up hide that fact very well. Eventually, the tab will come do and what what will you all do? There are no free rides. You may run to the suburbs and exurbs but you can not hide from the truth.
