Henry, where do you think Richard has his head if not in the sand? I can understand you feeling irate at his comments to you, but I suspect you have gone scientifically awol in your annoyance.

I assume you realize that males physiologically have a great deal of trouble with contortions. A female cousin of mine as a youngster could lean over backwards, put her head between her legs and so on. But blokes can't do stuff like that.

Please remain scientifically accurate in your comments and I think we should stay on topic on sars rather than get into physiological discussions and unrelated issues of a personal nature.

So, what do you think of my comments that human to human transmission should be as easy already as bird to human, even without any humanisation of the H5N1?

See if you can actually READ what someone writes, rather than respond to it with a complete lack of logic.

1. I believe that a pandemic is of immediate concern and that a threat has been identified. I responded to you, indicating such, before your blithering reply. Posting about the threat of H5N1 at S.I. years ago, I have of course followed it closely since.......

2. There is a difference between pointing out that you're a fear mongering jerk and saying that bird flu is not a threat. I've never come remotely close to saying the latter. Shucks, there goes that "agenda".

The entire world looks at an outbreak of a mild, limited infectious disease in Vancouver and holds breath. You're out there yelling River City. CDC experts and others say that there's nothing to worry about, and you label them morons. And it has gone on and on.

YOU ARE A FRIGGING JERK, NIMAN, AND THE WIDELY ACKNOWLEDGED BIGGEST TOUT THAT BIOTECH HAS EVER SEEN.
