I have understood gambling to a small degree for a long time. I limit 99.9% of my gambling to the stock market. My brother will only casino gamble one way. He walks in, and places all he has to lose on one bet. He either wins or loses. That way the odds only shave him once. It is the 1% haircut per pass that is the secret to Casino profits.
