Ted, Clinton made clear he was never happy with the agreement......it was Carter who got him into it. And short of war, its the best anyone is going to pull off.

I guess I have to repeat myself once again. Clinton was delinquent on his end of the Carter deal, which made North Korea restart their nuclear program while Clinton was still in office. Meanwhile, Clinton was taking all of the credit for the warming of relations, but didn't pay any attention to the fact that he was cratering the deal.

The deal was unwise to begin with, and I'm sure Clinton knew it and made it clear, but what did he do about it? Milk it for all its political worth. Typical "image is everything" foreign policy.

At some point, you will have to accept that your Mr. Bush is a very mediocre man that is in way over his head while Clinton had the stuff of greatness.

Sounds like you really worship the guy ...
