However, the fed needs to realize the energy imbalance will equally effect all countries that are dependent on oil. That makes every country vulnerable to the rising price of oil imports. It will create deficits everywhere.

We are all dependent on oil, but some countries are net exporters. They will clearly have surpluses, not deficits. It does balance out.
