You also shouldn't forget that he paid families of suicide bombers 25K each US. He had at least one factory thatmade suicide vests.

Seems that Kerry and Kennedy and both Clintons and almost every other politician believed the same thing...we have posted their quotes about WMD many times here..Why do you so easily forget the facts? And they were wrong. Only Howard Dean and Senator Byrd had enough guts to say the war was a mistake. Clinton, at least, had the sense enough not to start a war over it. And remember the fleet of jets that were just accidently found buried in the sands of Iraq?? Who is to say what else was buried?? Do you know? We didn't know Saddam had squadron of 30 ton jets - but we KNOW he had WMD? He buried the jets because during Gulf War I he sent jets to a haven in Iran - and Iran refused to give them back. He then buried the jets in the same sand that was ruining our equipment until our best military minds figured out how deal with it. Smart guy. If Saddam had access to an ocean he might have tried to hide his jets under water. Would have had the same effect. Not to forget that Saddam used SOME chemical lab to kill many of his own people.... And he got his initial WMD technology from where? The United States, of course, which was delighted to see Saddam pick a fight with the Iranians for eight years or so.
