May they promptly implode!

I don't recall you being a gay priest, Abby.
This sure seems to have gotten you upset.

The RC Church is a very very conservative organization.

Why does this surprise you or offend you?

I think it is silly for them not to want women as priests
but then that is the rules for their organization.

The gay thing doesn't surprise me one bit.

In fact, I always assumed they weren't already allowed in.

Hmmm...
I wonder how they will scan for it.

Will they run a picture of Brad Pitt by the candidates
and look for movement under their robes?

The Church certainly needs to do something about the
pedophile priest problem. But most gays aren't into
little boys. That's a screwed up mental problem.
Not neccessarily a gay thing.

I suppose it is even more difficult to scan for a gay
pedophile. I imagine they figure they just get rid of
the whole "sinning" bunch of them.

Anyhow, I suppose the church can count us as not being
there this Sunday.

Their decision not to adapt with the times will effect
them in some way. But I don't think they will be going
away too fast. There are a lot of people who still rely
on the Church for help, guidance, and structure in their
life.

It is what suits them and makes them feel good.
