"...on a decent pullback though"

As opposed to an indecent pullback?
Just kidding...kind of.

I'm reading the opinions on trade vs not...and I wonder how much of the perspective is based on gains already made.
If you are up 300%, and maybe rich anyhow, it is easy to say "hold".
...and even easier yet if you have been doing this for years...and watched multiple drops come back higher.
(reminder from elders = past performance is no guarantee of future....blah.blah.blah...)

BUT...If you bought a week ago..or a month...or even 3...whatever....
and you only have a limited amount to invest...and things start going down...it is a COMPLETELY different situation.

Even if I believe a stock I bought at 40 has a rock solid future, I'm NOT going to just sit and watch it go to 20...or even 30....because in my mind, selling now and buying lower gets me more of something I believe in.
....OR....even if I get it wrong on that stock, at least I still have my limited funds intact....and there is always another stock.

I've read enough and have enough experience(ha!) to know that I'll never get the highs and lows right (got it wrong twice in the past week in fact, but I didn't LOSE money!).

I'll openly admit I barely know what I'm doing...'cause I've only been at it for 7 weeks.
But ...I've made 20% in that time, and I have NO intention of giving it back!

Regards, happy weekend, and best wishes to all,
Chuck.

T - Coxe periodically addresses this in his call. He has resolved it by telling the traders that they are on their own in terms of identifying trading signals. He acknowledges that different groups work on different timeframes but ultimately his work is focused on the big picture. The challenge here is that a takeover announcement could come at any time and that may or may not be telegraphed by trading action. Once the news hits, you're either in or you're out. I'd rather be in.
