After reading some of the back post here and the number of post "this board" might want to meet at the mortuary and have some real fun. "my 15-20 trades per day are day trades, not swing trades. I buy (or short) at some point and then sell (or cover) during the same day. That is a day trades" No it's not. A daytrader will enter a trade playing that one run that just began in realtime. The trade may tick his way a few seconds, minutes or even hours, but when it starts ticking against him he bails out taking whatever profit the market has given him. Say he buys QQQQ at 38, he expects & demands it begin ut'ing his way immediately. Should it up tick to 38.20 & turn down, HE SELLS IMMEDIATELY. Should he buy at 38 & get a "HeadFake" & the trade goes against him he will bail immediately taking a very minor loss. That is daytrading. Playing the realtime run as it happens! You are swing trading. don't believe me? Ask any daytrading broker or join a chatroom so you can learn something. Good rooms post position, swing, & daytrades & know exactly the kind of trade they are posting. If someone post buy QQQQ 38 daytrade, that means they are only holding it as long as the immediate run last. How many runs last all day without any shakes? Hardly any, if any. If you buy in the am & sell in the pm, that stock had numerous runs & shakes, "SWINGS", intraday, that Sir, is a swing trade. Got it? " I prefer higher probability trades that I choose myself. I have no desire, or no use for chatrooms" So, it's your computer & you against the markets, Well that's just great, except for one thing, YOU CAN'T WIN! And even if you could, the work load would be too demanding for any human being to hold up. No wonder you people pull a Charley Manson whenever someone offers to post RT Calls and see who has the brains. All you people offer is your imaginary wins while I can turn you on to the biggest free daytrading chatroom on the planet. I want to make this perfectly clear, if you're not in that room, you are not in the best resource for daytraders on the planet. Even the pay rooms lurk that free room & parrot their picks to their tiny flocks. It's a matter of sheer numbers, the pay rooms will have 1 guru with a Trading Platform posting to about 15 sheep while the big room has 1000's of members imputting only the juicy stuff, the money making stuff.
