"Enemies of the free world?" Are we free from gas gouging? Are we free from corrupt congressmen spending our country into bankrptcy? Are we free from a president who lied to take us to war on false pretenses and now refuses to leave? Are we free from voter fraud in Florida 2000 and Ohio 2004 which put this presdient in power? Are we free from unilateral moves to increase pollution of our environment? Time for Bushies to stop using the word "freedom" as if they are the ones fighting for it. In fact, opponents of Bush-Cheney are the ones most concerned about democracy and freedom, especially individual freedom, freedom of religion, freedom of lifestyle and freedom to travel around a harmonious world without fear of anti-American hatred. We now know damned well that the war in Iraq was in no way started in order to free the Iraqi people or give them democracy. That was just the 19th excuse. The real reason was to secure oil reserves from corporate cronies of Bush-Cheney and to use the war as a club to secure more political power by swiping the 2002 mid-term election. If that war was really about freedom, most of the world would be with us like they were in Afghanistan. Instead, almost the entire world is against us. Freedom, democracy, God, the flag, the troops, even freedom to own a gun. These are not the property of the GOP rightwing. With the exception of proliferating combat weapons throughout the US, the rightwing is actually hijacking and dishonestly exploiting all of the above.
