Wow! Calame has grown a set of big ones! Publishing this means he had an argument with the NYT editors that went all the way to the top, and lost.

I see he's not letting Krugman's errors be forgotten, either.

Well now, this is interesting. Let's wait and see how the Times management takes to being excoriated by their own Public Editor at regular intervals.

it was a great piece for nyt, most of their readers would believe Geraldo Rivera shoved the guy or kicked the guy, etc to get on camera.

as stated it was a judgement call. Rivera could have kissed the guy and then helped but nyt would take that as biting the guy. nyt times only feeding their agenda to destroy folks like Geraldo and fox if they can. regardless i expect most liberal nyc folks believe the nyt.
