Sidney > After the Valerie Plame outing isn't anything possible?

Hard saying. It seems to me from what little I could find on the subject that most folks are taking it with a rather large grain of salt. It simply doesn't have the ring of truth to it. Barbara Olson was (is?) a rather conspicuous person, along with being recognizable to a large cross section of the population.

Using Barbara Olson for any sort of clandestine caper would be about like sending Bozo the clown to sell drugs on a street corner in Harlem. People would notice. And, as others have pointed out, even if she wasn't on the plane, her death sentence was signed the second CNN broadcast the alleged cell phone call story. It just isn't possible to imagine people who wouldn't blink at the murder of 3000 citizens, allowing a liability of that magnitude to exist. The idea she's been running around loose for 4 years, without anyone noticing until recently, strikes me as being far fetched to the point of absurdity. She would have been collected long before now, especially if she was engaged in activities involving the level of exposure suggested in the article.

I think I'd want to see Barbara Olson standing next to a finger print and DNA analysis before treating the story as credible, rather than an anonymous source allegedly talking to Tom Flake-o.
