Maurice Re: "$1 Bn per hour" Yeah, for about three hours per day during peak sunlight, and that with that the birds and the squirrels or some other unknown entity providing the capital in the first place and the maintenance. If it works why not do it now? You can put the juice back in the grid using an inverter and the power utility will pay you for it. No need to invent a thing. The technology is here now and has been for nearly 30 years, if you count the inverter. You can even add a few wind electric generators to boost your profits. <g> Slagle
