Appreciate your commments Ed. However, I do keep wondering if the Rev War were being fought today, would it be successful in the end, or would the "children --who want everything now, this minute, thank you very much--" pull out, and we would lose as we did in VietNam?

That article can best be stated as:

1) If we win in Iraq, it will be due to the keen insight and steadfast determination of Bush.

2) If we lose, it will be the fault of the Dems & Libs.

If he had spent, oh one quarter of the article admonishing Bush to admit that he badly misjudged quite a few things about Iraq, while asking Dems & Libs to step up to the plate thus helping achieve a successful outcome, he would have shown a modicum of understanding about human affairs. Unfortunately, he failed at that.
