The FDA shut down a company that was making headway with farmers using natural predatory bugs to control crop eating pests because they were getting close to hurting the chemical companies that make pesticides. The FDA just changed a rule and the competing company was out of business. Happens all the time. Big business often gets to put the head of these agencies in as favors for their support for Republicans. It's incest.
