Even Brown agreed with two of those, not sure about the second one since as you know, getting rid of "paperwork" in a governmental position, might be an insurmountable task ....

2. Not organizing FEMA properly during his two year tenure. There are just too many first hand stories about first responders being hindered by absurd FEMA paperwork - from NYC firemen being held in Atlanta to truckers hauling ice all over the country to doctors not being permitted to treat patients.

Problem with this is that FEMA wasn't and never was a first responder. Those firemen were part of a FEMA public relations campaign to pass out pamphlets and provide information. I went through hurricane Andrew and FEMA only provided loans to those who had no insurance, and a few other minor things. Since then they have acted as an information center but it's the Guard, Red Cross, and other charities that are the first responders. FEMA comes out later to offer loan, legal assistance, and a few other things. To bash FEMA is just an effort to take the spot light off off Blanco and Nagin.

Brown stepped up faster than a speeding bullet. Brown did an outstanding job during his 2 year tenure handling 195 emergency events that included three of the top 5 in FEMA's time.

The continued stupidity of so many is they still don't get Nagin and Compass were having bad LSD trips and made up the entire oh pity us victims routine. No murders, no rapes, no hundreds of bodies. Just dumber and dumber on LSD or somethin.

For example, until a Governor signs a waiver, doctors cannot practice in a state where they are not licensed. That's a law used to identify ignorant fools too dumb to see reality.

But I hear Tawana Brawley is on her way to NO. So idiots can be fooled again.
