I don't have a deep fryer. We used to have one, and it got oil outside and was a big mess to clean. Then, what to do with all that oil?

My son has a turkey frying pot and he told me it takes $40 worth of oil to fill. He made one last Thanksgiving and it was so juicy and good. That is one expensive amount to fry one turkey and not be able to use the oil over again. At least the turkeys are given to us each year and that is good. I have not heard him say he was going to fry one again this year.
