I suspect Miller simply decided that her credibility wasn't getting any better so she might as well just go home to her comfy bed. She's a creepy one and the NYTimes is also appearing quite creepy as well.

You'd think she and Libby could just have held out until the Grand Jury was gone and Fitzgerald was looking for a new job. I don't know, maybe something really interesting is afoot.
