actually, I had heard a few tech ceos that (wisely) cashed out in the bubble wound up in LV, I think I even saw one interviewed on CNBC a few years back.

This guy was basically focused on his job I am sure, until about May, and then in the Summer he was jobless and headed down there. But when he found no opportunities he came back , not to invest in real estate here, but to invest in tech companies which is his forte anyway. He might invest in commercial RE here, but not residential, I know that.
