My strategy is to own oil sands/oil, NG, uranium, gold, and base metals before I exit 2005.

That's pretty much how I have positioned myself (also have some silver positions). I hope it's a good plan! I've also started looking at some income-producing strategies to prepare for culling some of the massive profits and allocating a portion to very conservative instruments. Probably a little early on that initiative, but I can take my time.

JH,

Good points, but I don't hear many people talk about stock market risk (which are very real!!!) except a few top names like CC, Russ Winter, Paul Van Eeden etc.
Make sure you are properly hedged or have a good stash of cash!

OT:
I will be meeting some friends tomorrow at the conference at noon at the entrance ie registration desk and then I plan to attend
1.Canadian Royalties corp presentation/workshop at noon.
2.GO FOR LUNCH!!!
3.Lawrence Roulston Workshop at 3.
4.James Turk Workshop at 4.
5.John Kaiser presentation at 5.
6.Paul Van Eeden presentation at 530.

Hopefully we can meet up somewhere during the day and if not definitely at Fionn MacCool's!

Cheers,
DT
