A very good friend of mine owns a liquor store in a bad section of Miami, Florida. Several men entered his store well armed to rob it. They PISTOL WHIPPED his 85 year old Grandfather who was visiting. This infuriated my friend. Later, he told me, I had intended to be robbed without giving any resistance as we have insurance, but when they so badly beat up my Grandfather I just went nuts. Anyhow, my friend grabbed a GLOCK, and began firing. A gunfight erupted, he killed one man and wounded the other two. The police came and CONGRATULATED HIM for ridding the streets of "scum" (their words). Now he is awaiting to see if he is going to be indicted by a grand jury. This happened BEFORE the new gun law passed. jdn
