I will grant that I cross my personal boundaries of conduct at times. But I am not entirely unfamiliar with the sh-t that passes for discussion on other threads. So I think that your judgmental (and somewhat supercilious tone) is something you might what to consider as the mote in your own eye.

I can see that..... Because I have seen similar anger in other places, but not been able to question it, it may well be that I am seeing more than is there. I know a number of people who have chosen to join "Pagan religions" and often they seem to maintain a rage that is, I must admit impossible for me to understand. Also because of my connections to several people who have be molested by Priests my own view of Christianity is somewhat jaded, but some of the anger that I have come into contact with as I say, seems hard for me to comprehend, I cannot fathom how some Christians deal with it. I just can't imagine once one has walked out the door why it would continue to matter. As for the judgemental part, I certainly may be coming across that way in print, but it is not that I feel I am judging as questioning the depth of the anger I think I am seeing.....

<I have quoted thousands of biblical contradictions and I have quoted examples of the most brutal and savage and primitive behaviours imaginable. >

Remember that what is contained in the bible was decided by humans, not god {whatever that is}. The old testiment was included in 'Christian' teachings despite having nothing to do with Jesus, and therefore arguably don't really belong with the 'New Testiment'. These types of decisions were probably all political and whatever.

In any case, stick to the New Testiment and the teachings reportedly directly credited to Jesus himself. You can easily note how virtually every nutcase Elmer Gantry on TV spews old Testiment 'eye for an eye' stuff all based on a vaggue statement by Jesus that he wasn't trying to replace the old scriptures, but to clarify them {or some such talk}. He also in several places directly contradicted some old Testiment teachings.
