Everyone is overlooking a much more important set of victims - every government employee with a security clearance and every US citizen that relies on our security agencies and law enforcement bureaus to go after bad guys using classified information. It doesn't matter that those agencies are imperfect, they have rules that were willfully broken by these two yo-yo's. You conspire with a corrupt federal employee to steal classified info and you have undermined the integrity of the entire system, a system that only has its integrity to hold up at the end of the day. I'm curious to see what the sentence will be on that charge. I suspect it will be the heaviest by far, I would guess at least ten years given the gravity of what Tony and Royer did.
