Perhaps, but all I know is energy companies are making money hand over foot, gas is costing me a fortune and the market is tanking. I don't see how Bush's policies regarding energy conservation has done the environment or my pocket book any good. Speak to the execs at Haliburton or Exxon or anybody in the armaments business, they are having a gay old time.

Bush should postpone the Mars mission and his tax cuts and spend the $300 billion on an emergency program to accelerate the switch from gas to hydrogen powered vehicles. The technology is there - it needs a push to get it adopted.

I'd pay the equiv of $4/gal for the pleasure of telling OPEC to *@#$ off...

Bush has called for more refineries, more exploration and conservation from the very beginning. I dont see how you could have missed it. Remember he used to include in every speech SEND ME AN ENERGY BILL. jdn

Remember during the first two years when liberals were more interested in who Cheney talked to rather than what was in the energy policy? And the energy policy being "kept in secret"? Big fawlking secret, it was on the internet for 3 years. It included FUNDING for alternative energy sources.
