Good posts. None of the thousands of religious myths extant come close to any correspondence with scientific knowledge (we don't imagine that "demons" are the cause of illness anymore, for instance!)! We know that all "Holy Texts" are man made and are as vicious, brutal, and exclusionary as they are ridiculous and risible. This is not debatable by rational people. This is not to say that there may not be an underlying expression for life or matter or both. But it is no more about me than it is about a leaf. I may indeed be part of a whole. But I will never be "ME" again. I am sure if there was a word of "God", that "God" would find a way to get it to me. This was probably His attempt but who can say?? psychcentral.com
