croco- we have a weekly newspaper here - its printed on regular paper. anyway, last week harold put two ads in .... first one under the wanted section: "my burgundy/red Norco Katmandu bicycle back. reward" second one under the lost and found section: lost: "lost out of my carport, a norco katmandu bicycle burgundy/red with black panniers. reward." that's the real reason we're putting up a fence. one with pointies on it. as for the garden - if our place wasn't in town (town is a misnomer) or was on the beach, i'd have an all-natural yard, like the one you described that you have. i like that idea. -rhozo
