There are some good thoughts in the NT. But taken as a whole the doctrine is racist, mean, and brutal.

These primitive writers and mythologists knew little of reality, but lots about AUTHORITY. For centuries science and reason were denied, so that the Institution of the Church could flourish and rule. It was ALL SELF INTEREST.

As to the ideas attributed to "Jesus" in these tales...some were good--and some are too despicable for words.

When Jesus smirks at the Gentile after saying He was a racist...nothing "good" about that!
