No-bid contracts have no place in government. Every town and condo association in America puts out contracts for bid to make sure they get the best deal. This also sharply reduces corruption. Bushies love no-bids so they can give their closest cronies big fat contracts and get kickbacks in the form of political contributions. It's corrupt and it needs to stop.

Another example, both in FLorida 2000 and Ohio 2004, the GOP awarded the state's election oversight to crony companies whose bids were much higher than other bidders. These cronies turned out to be crooks helping them swipe the elections by reducing the amounts of blacks whose votes would be counted. This is criminal.

No-bids lead to cronyism which lead to corruption, - get it? It's also a waste of tax-payer money.
