One of their guys says what the rest of us think....sort of! Check out the last paragraph where he explains the fallacies of the Big Bang theory.

Islamic nations 'should not exist in isolation'

gulf-news.com

A Muslim scholar has called on Islamic nations to accomplish a major scientific or technological evolution and leave behind the state of seclusion in which they are living.

"The Muslim nation is currently living in a state of isolation. The West invented the computer and the internet that was imported to Muslim nations so they could learn how to use it, along with other advancements. That is not a development or advancement," said Dr Idriss Al Kharchaf, a prominent Moroccan Islamic propagandist.

Muslims can become knowledgeable when they read intellectively and faithfully, Dr Al Kharchaf told more than 100 Muslim scholars at the Dubai Chamber of Commerce and Industry on Saturday.

He said the Dubai International Holy Quran Award (DIHQA) has educated youngsters worldwide and urged them to study and memorise the Quran.

He said youngsters nowadays did not believe in any cause except through technologies and advancements.

"Understanding the Quranic verses comes through the slow recitation and modulation of the holy book. When a reader intones the verses of the Quran, slowly and delicately, they will come to notice new meanings that wouldn't have appeared except in that way of reading," he said.

Dr Al Kharchaf criticised scientists who say the universe was created after a huge explosion.

"We tell those scientists that there is a great difference between an explosion and a rift, as mentioned in the Quran. Life started after the rift. After the universe rifted, the protons, neutrons and electrons started uniting and formed the atoms. The atoms turn from left to right around each other. Any creature that moves from left to right extols Allah but we are not aware of that."

So, what is your take of what we should do, Ted?

Leave the country, give free hands to the deadly Sunni minority and their foreign Islamist fanatics to have their way with the Iraq population for a starter?

You think this is the best solution for the world?

Its a little late to be worrying what's the best solution for the world. The best solution would have been to never invade the country in the first place.

The infuriating thing is that the American right in its arrogance and mendacity has managed to play right into bin Laden's hands. They have pitted the Arab world against the West.........the lines have been very deliberately drawn. Now if that was their intent, then it was an intelligent move; however if their stated intent was for real and not a lie, then it was one of the most stupid moves in the last 50 years.

Short term no doubt it would be the best selfish solution for the US, I agree on that.

What is your opinion given the current status?

We have little to choice but to get out. The war can not be won. Iraq is turning into Yugoslavia and it will have to run its course which can take ten years or more.
