"IMO what seems to happen is that states of conciousness {what all mystics including Buddha, Krishna, and Christ describe}, compassion, love, peace, etc are emotions, and like much of real life, NOT linear in nature" Yeah...maybe they are EMOTIONS--NOT linear? Maybe "peace" is an "emotion"? I thought "peace" was getting the knife away from the other guy (you know--smash him unconscious till the police arrived)? But--you get a modern dame...ya can't be a sap, eh?? "Lower states of emotional being {fear for example} are paralleled by rapid linear & or intellectual activity of figuring out what the hell to do... scenarios, whatifs, etc." They are actually pretty high states of being. Who wants to be a sap to some dame? Don't need no falcon... You gotta learn to get PAST "rapid linear & or intellectual activity". It ain't easy...
