Mission accomplished.
Time to bring them home.

Why would we bring them home? Is security in the region with most of the worlds oil important to you? Why not set up a permanent air and navy base in Iraq?

In September, it was reported that a billion dollars
was stolen from Iraq's defense ministry, possibly qualifying as the single largest theft in history.

Meanwhile, earlier this year, the Pentagon reported that nearly $9 billion in money for Iraq's reconstruction was "unaccounted for." (Maybe it's because some contracts were reportedly paid in
stacks of $100 bills stuffed in gunny sacks.) :(
