Well, I think you hit the nail on the head with the Chinese. They think long term. We Americans think only 4 years ahead. That is the biggest flaw with our Democracy. It may just be possible that we have already reached our zenith and the rest is downhill from here. That's not a flaw of democracy; that's a flaw of the current leaders in office and the state of this nation. Things that require an incubating period longer than 4 years were put into place under Clinton. One by one, the current administration has unraveled them. Not unlike a beast with two heads, this country consists of two very distinct philosophies that don't mesh well. And each head is trying to make the beast go in a different direction. ted
