Today, we have NO RULES of any value, hell they want to put in on line voting with little or no PROOF you are even a citizen.

You can bet that the drowned citizen's of New Orleans will be voting in the next election.

I also blame the voters for being so gullible as to believe the lies of the politicians... but I blame the politicians even more.

Support a Balanced Budget amendment and FORCE reform!

"When our system of government was enacted we had RULES to make sure that voters VOTED RESPONSIBLY. You had to be a PROPERTY OWNER to vote. The theory was, a man (women didn't have the vote then) who was a landed person would elect responsible citizens to oversee our government and the assets of the realm"

What a novel idea to ask that only responsible people get to vote. What would the drunks who need a drink on Election Day do if they couldn't get paid to vote as a few dead people? In Wisconsin people couldn't hand out cigarettes in exchange for votes. This is America! We have rights!

"Today, we have NO RULES of any value, hell they want to put in on line voting with little or no PROOF you are even a citizen."

The genie is out of the bottle; we probably can stop the bleeding, but are unlikely to ever restore reason.

"We have a large class of people who pay no taxes at all, are only in it for WHAT THEY CAN GET."

And every time we elect a liberal we are facilitating that mentality. When legislators use "targeted tax cuts" rather than across the board tax cuts to taxpayers they are promoting this disparity.

"China may be the next super power; we may be the next Banana Republic."

I would be amazed if 10 people reading your post or this one realize just how prophetic that statement is.
