It's true, the religious right lies when they say "murdering kids" or "murdering" or "killing babies". In fact none of those babies or kids exist. They're only potential babies if the mother were to choose to have the kids. As I've said, this debate really isn't about abortion anyway, it's about sexual freedom for women. The old-fashioned conservatives don't like women to be emancipated from male and church domination. They don't want women to enjoy sex. They don't want women to be free to leave the kitchen and the nursery. Female sexual freedom is very threatening to them personally for some reason. So is gay sexuality of course. In a perfect world they'd be right, but realistically, they're plain wrong.
