of course less than two years later they were full but we had a draft then. The draft is a miracle machine designed to keep all the ranks full. It even kept the National Guard and Reserves full and they did not draft. :o) I have noticed a trend developing over the past coupla years. I meet no 60s Veterans who regret serving. But I am meeting more and more similar-aged civilians who admit they regret not serving. Military retiree COLA has been announced as 4.1%, effective January. Thank you ya'll.
