Does Bush Sr. take any responsibility for telling Saddam that the invasion of Kuwait would be an arab-to-arab conflict and none of the US' business? Does he?

I love it.. April Glaspie tells Saddam that the US has no position over the dispute between Iraq and Kuwait over who owns the oil rights along their borders, and you think that Bush Sr. gave Saddam the "green light" to invade and brutalize the Kuwaiti people?

Is that what you're trying to tell me?

What would you have RATHER Glaspie tell Saddam?

That the US would expend it's blood and treasure to defend Kuwait?

Should we make that guarantee for EVERY country?
