Hello Pezz, Today's Report:

(a) I am doing mostly nothing in the financial arena, and just waiting, for what I do not know;

(b) Figuring enough is enough, I sold my Trinidad Energy Services finance.yahoo.com at CAD 14.60, in the nick of time, and claim a realized gain of 75% from purchase cost of Message 20497221 <<I purchased a tranche of Trinidad Energy Services finance.yahoo.com at CAD 8.325/share. They look for stuff and then dig for it, but as a service provider, not as a principal, sort of like what I do.>> plus exchange rate gain, of course;

(c) I am in process of master-planning for an abode in Thailand, and we hope to complete construction and fitout by end of year 2006.

On your geewhizbang computer, from experience, I recommend that you run the old and new PCs concurrently for a while, and do not allow your enthusiam to drive you to let go of one hold before you grab hold of another hold, as in mid-air acrobatics. May the Force be with you.

Chugs, J

Hello Pezz, Tonight's Report:

Sold off 63% of my Canadian Oil Sand shares at CAD 106+ (cost basis from 2003 averages to CAD 38ish), claiming a fair return. I will buy back at some point, after the big downward slam.

I would characterize my present frame of mind as "dial 1.800.get.me.out" or "dial 1.900.go.to.cash"

Hello again Pezz, Another Report:

Off-loaded 1/3 of precious Vermilion Energy Trust finance.yahoo.com at CAD 24.3+, claiming on LIFO accounting basis a 40+% gain from Message 20238938 .

If I unload more, I would be doing so to earlier tranches (May 5th, 2003) and the cost basis would be less than CAD 13.

The beast has also been gushing dividends every month at a healthy pace, oh, yes, and do not forget the currency gains.

Consider this a panic sell practice.

Did I forget to mention, "Forget everything, get cash"

Hello Pezz, Tonight's Report:

Sounded the general retreat across energy arena and abandoned Connarcher, Blackrock, UTS Energy, and Fording Canadian Coal positions. About even, or at least nothing material was lost, because it is still early days, before the onslaught of the bears.
